Kislev 25 (the ninth month of the Hebrew Calendar), circa 1,200 BC:
Moses and the Israelites completed the construction of the Tabernacle.
According to the Bible the Tabernacle was sort of a tent, built by artists under the supervision of Bezalel Ben Uri and Oholiab Ben Ahisamak, and it was intended to serve as a place of worship for the Israelites during their 40 years of wandering the Sinai desert. The Tabernacle's inner shrine (the Holy of Holies) housed the Ark of the Covenant.
When the Israelites entered the land of Canaan they placed the Tabernacle in Shiloh, where it served its ritual purposes for many years until the holy Temple of Jerusalem was built by King Solomon in the 10th century BC.
